Congratulations, you’ve self-assessed and feel that you can add value to missing persons and our organization, and are now ready to apply for membership with Search and Rescue Regina Inc.
Prior to completing an application for membership, review SAR Regina's expectations of members. Note that SAR Regina only accepts members who will actively participate in regular SAR training, meetings and community events.
Support Team Members may apply at any time.
Professional Ground Searcher applicants may only apply after attending an information session and training event.
It is acceptable to add value to our chapter by becoming a Support Team Member first, then training to become a Professional Ground Searcher at a later date.
Before you begin, please:
complete the Enough Already: Creating a Harassment-Free Workplace course.
read the SAR Regina Code of Conduct and Confidentiality Agreement that applicants must agree to abide by to as part of this application submission.
Professional Ground Searcher applicants must also complete the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency ICS I-100: Introduction to Incident Command System course.
Immediately after submitting this application, please:
Submit the $80 payment that includes the membership fee to sarr.finances@gmail.com.
Email your Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sector check, and Enough Already certificate, to the Membership Director at sarr.membership@gmail.com.
Professional Ground Searcher applicants, also submit the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency ICS I-100: Introduction to Incident Command System certificate.
